Heading south by bus, a short stop over in a large coastal town called La Serena, 21 May, oh and by the way, we experienced an earthquake!!

Just one night here before heading inland to our next destination.
First we needed to refuel. And Amanda needed to spend some time getting to grips with her new toy... [author´s correction: her new phone...]

That night, we were woken in the early hours by a loud noise and the bed shaking. The shutters and wardrobe doors banging. The earth was literally moving beneath us, be it for only 5-10 seconds! We were witnessing a 5.3 magnitude earthquake!
